Introducing Achievements: Turn client milestones into long-term revenue

Keeping clients engaged between sessions is one of the hardest parts of running a studio. Life gets busy, motivation dips, and before you know it, a once-loyal client quietly stops showing up.

That’s why we built Achievements, a new feature where you create badges your clients can earn by hitting specific goals you set. Achievements reward your clients' consistency, which keeps your community motivated and your booking calendar full.

Research from ScienceDirect shows that clients who engage with gamification are more likely to stick to their goals than those using traditional apps. And with the power of gamification, the business impact is real: higher attendance, stronger retention, and more revenue.

Three ways to celebrate your clients

There are 3 types of Achievements you can create:

- Milestones recognize lifetime loyalty. Set a cumulative class count–like a “100 Class Club”–and celebrate clients for how far they've come. It's a powerful motivator, and a signal to newer members of what's possible in your community.

- Streaks build consistency. Reward clients for attending a set number of classes for a set period (days / weeks / months / years). An example being “Attend at least 1 class every week for 5 weeks.”

- Commitments are perfect for time-bound events. You choose the start date, the end date, and the target class count - such as “Complete 30 classes between January 1 and March 31.” Instead of simply attending classes, your clients are now on a mission to cross the finish line together.

Set it up your way

Each studio is different, so Achievements allow you to personalize how each badge looks and feels. Upload a custom icon image for each badge to match your brand or the theme of the achievement, and give each badge a name that resonates with your community.

Achievements also let you customize exactly what counts toward each badge.

- Filter by location – great for multi-location studios that want to spotlight a specific site

- Filter by service category – count only Strength classes, only Yoga, or any program you choose

- Filter by activity type – in-person classes, livestream classes, video library classes, private sessions, or any combination

Once you publish an achievement, progress tracks automatically as clients complete eligible sessions. No manual work on your end.

Your clients experience it in your branded app

When clients open your branded app, they can see all of their earned badges – plus the ones they're working toward. Seeing that next badge just within reach is a powerful motivator to keep clients engaged and excited for their next booking. The moment a client hits a goal, they get a push notification celebrating their achievement.
